Experiential Training and Development (ETD) is one of the most valuable ways to effect change in people, groups, teams and organizations. It is based on respected adult learning and organization development models and its effectiveness is backed by research. It is highly interactive, engages the learner on all levels and creates an atmosphere of challenge and even a little fun. Carol will share with you the industry’s definition of ETD, the models it is based on, and how it fits into a learning organization’s training and development plan. Now if that sounds downright drab don’t worry, there will be ample opportunity to learn “experientially.” All crammed into an action-packed hour!
Learning outcomes:
- Introduction and general understanding of Experiential Training and Development and its most effective uses
- Practice of Experiential Learning Model through simulation
- At least one new activity you can use
- Increased camaraderie through highly interactive participation
- Fun and laughter
