A well-known business management consultant once argued that a company’s culture would trump any attempt to create a strategy that was incompatible with it. Since then, what legions of businesses have come to recognize is that a fundamental link exists between culture, strategy, and business success.
The fact is, even the soundest strategies will fail if leaders underestimate the impact they stand to have on the existing culture or the resistance to change that may exist. Thus, it is inherent that leaders commit to creating conditions so a productive and progressive culture can flourish.
In this session, you’ll learn how to use your culture as a tool to drive business results. Starting with identification of a structure that must stand behind them, attendees will explore what makes their organization unique and how culture can be used to purposefully drive specific behaviors within the workforce and out into the marketplace.

Bruce StecCQuence Health Group
Bruce Stec serves as Vice President, Human Resources for CQuence Health Group, where he and his team develop and promote a progressive culture of accountability, engagement, wellness, and corporate social responsibility throughout CQuence and its diverse operating companies. At CQuence, human capital is considered the organization’s greatest asset. That belief is made real through a high-performance culture powered by specific cultural beliefs aligned to business objectives.
Bruce’s strengths and abilities in driving business results through culture have taken shape over nearly two decades. Whether working for start-ups, non-profits or corporate organizations, Bruce has demonstrated an ability to learn, to engage employees at all levels, and to lead organizations to reach their potential.
As a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Bruce is equally as passionate about giving back to the communities of which he is a member. He is a past board president of the Human Resource Association of the Midlands (HRAM) and currently serves a board member for CASA for Douglas County.
