ATD Nebraska presents:
Butterflies, Bobsleds, and Big Moo:
The Training We Love to Receive and Give Too
Presenter: Kirk Weisler
________________________________________________________________________
We all share memories of training we loved and learned from, and training we endured and suffered through. From those we loved and learned, we have sought to adopt and emulate. In Butterflies, Bobsleds, and Big Moo, Kirk Weisler will share the very best training activities, insights, and training enhancers that he has collected over the years from books, lectures, and from other great teachers and trainers like you. We will play with corks, discover Doodles, and find focus in a most fun way. But we won’t stop there! We will experience the Butterfly Effect, Run with Bobsledders, and let roar our inner BIG MOO! We are trainers, teachers, influencers, and we have stewardship to become all that we can be. Like Muhammad Ali, we will learn to Float Like a Butterfly and Sting Like a Bee (it’s a training metaphor, so work with it and find your buzz!)
At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- More effectively incorporate meaningful symbols and experiential components into their training
- Increase learning retention
- Create themes and symbols that align with and strengthen training objectives
- Effectively utilize questions to enhance engagement, impact, and retention
- Have more fun
