In this session you will learn what it takes to integrate multiple media types into a seamless, engaging learning piece. We will discuss the different types of media (monologue, dialogue, & live action video, images, kinetic typography, and animations), that can be combined for maximum impact with learners. Discuss the video production process from need to lead, including project planning, tool selection, writing scripts, casting actors, publishing content and more.

Meet The Speaker
David Kipling
Union Pacific Railroad
David has designed online instruction with tools like Flash and Captivate for over 15 years. He currently manages a team of eLearning designers and instructional designers at the Union Pacific Railroad. Together they create online help and tutorials for use by Train, Engine and Yard (TEY) personnel. From traditional, compliance type training to software simulations, the content is geared toward the workers in the field and helping them successfully run the railroad.
