In many organizations, performance evaluations are usually seen as an isolated activity that everyone has to complete once a year to comply with an HR requirement. 

This session will focus on Children's Hospital & Medical Center's efforts to create a performance management strategy that is connected to the organization's mission and viewed as a process that enables meaningful conversation and keeps employees focused on the organization's key priorities.

Learning Objectives
  • Understand the difference between a basic an a strategic employee performance management strategy 
  • Learn from Children's experience and lessons learned throughout the implementation of changes to the performance evaluations and the performance management process

Karen is an experienced facilitator, performance management expert, certified leadership coach, and change management practitioner. She currently works as Sr. Organization Development Consultant for Children's Hospital & Medical Center.
