Are you struggling with what or how to implement a Mentoring program in your company? Do you need some fresh ideas? We have pulled together three Mentoring Program leaders for local organizations to share with you the struggles and successes they have experienced in creating a mentoring program that is now working for them. They will share resources around selecting, pairing, educating and maintaining their programs. We invite you to share your morning with us, get your questions answered and walk away with a variety of resources to expedite getting a mentoring program off the ground for your organization.

Jessica Jones Learning Management Coordinator and OD Specialist Conductix Wampfler – a leading global provider of energy and data transmission solutions.

Jessica Jones has been the Learning Management Coordinator and Organizational Development Specialist with Conductix-Wampfler for the past five years. She earned her Master’s Degree in Managerial Communication along with an Executive Coaching Certificate from Bellevue University. Jessica serves as V.P. of Professional Development for ATD – Nebraska. Jessica is responsible for managing, creating and delivering training for over 280 US employees along with leading global training and change initiatives in Europe and Asia. In addition to Jessica’s training responsibilities, she is responsible for developing, executing and maintaining all plans for employee development, a mentor program, leadership program as well as a high potential employee program. Jessica is the proud recipient of HR.com’s LEAD Awards for Conductix’s mentoring program, leadership program and BizLibrary’s Best Measured Results award. Jessica has a passion for learning and teaching others, challenging status quo and coaching others to achieve success


Kurt Irlbeck Director of Operations within Workplace Solutions Mutual of Omaha

Kurt L. Irlbeck, Director of Operations within Workplace Solutions at Mutual of Omaha, has over 29 years of experience in the insurance industry. Operations is a strong competency, with certification in “lean and six sigma” execution. He currently oversees a dynamic group of people leading teams through agile methodologies. Kurt’s ability to lead engaged teams of people through large company initiatives has been recognized with both Chairman’s and President’s Leadership awards.

Kurt is also President of one of Mutual’s most active Employee Resource Groups called “Wealth of Wisdom.” (WOW) In addition to ensuring the perspective from multiple generations at work is realized, a cornerstone outcome through WOW’s mission is to run the Mentoring program for the organization. Kurt is also part of Mutual of Omaha’s D&I Advocacy and Advisory Council.


Carly Tefft Learning & Development Specialist C&A Industries, Inc.

Carly is one of the three training professionals dedicated to New Hires for the Medical Sales teams at C & A Industries. She is the Director of the four Mentor Programs C & A has in place, focusing on mentor matching, keeping content up to date, providing training and feedback to all who participate in any of the programs. Outside of work she and her husband enjoy spending time with their Boston Terrier/French Bulldog mix named Sam Adams!
