Speaker: Jason Lauritsen

How do we ensure that we have the talent we need to win? This question tops many CEO’s priority lists, yet organizations continue to struggle to meet this challenge because we are trapped in antiquated talent definitions and management process from the past. Upon understanding where we are today and how we got there, the future demands a radically different approach to talent.

In this session we will:

  • Explore the very definition of talent to uncover where the linkage between talent management and business results is lacking.
  • Understand the history and evolution of current talent management practices as a foundation for understanding where innovation is critical.
  • Discover three approaches for human resources and training leaders to use as they create the future of talent management, including talent cultivation, studying humans instead of best practices, and giving power to the people through approaches like internal crowdsourcing.
