Have you heard the news!? ATD Nebraska is now a SHRM Recertification Provider! You asked for it and we delivered. Join us, March 11th for our first event of 2020 to offer PDCs.
Free webinar for ATD Nebraska members The talent development profession demands that we become educational consultants and not merely order takers. Whether you are a team of one or twelve, role clarity is paramount in this field to influence your customers or stakeholders, whether your project is beginning or needs to implement sustainability. The Six Boxes Model provides a relatable, visual metaphor to define the division of responsibilities ranging from expectations and feedback to skills and knowledge of desired content. Establish boundaries of accountability and ensure your curriculum infuses the learning preferences of your participants.
- After reviewing an illustration of the Six Boxes Model, ATD Nebraska participants will identify two key responsibilities of TD professionals.
- Given a hypothetical scenario, participants will determine the best approach to hold stakeholder(s) accountable in establishing learner expectations.
- After completing a brief terminology section on learning preferences, the participants will be able to recognize at least two potential communication styles to optimize learning from a set curriculum.
- Following an introduction to Whole Emergenetics thinking as one of several models for learning styles, participants will demonstrate at least three motivational differences for learning based on seven unique thinking and behavioral attributes.
