Assessing Learning Needs

Tuesday, October 4, 2022 | 10am - 3pm | Centris, Omaha, NE

What should we expect to see?

In the training and instructional design fields, learning practitioners are often approached with requests for training without comprehensive details and data regarding why the training is needed and why training is the best solution to produce the desired results. During this session, learners will explore the foundational framework of needs assessments (such as concepts, benefits, and processes), consider non-training interventions, as well as create tools they can use during the needs assessment more.

Proving Training ROI Through Evaluation

Thursday, November 10, 2022 | 10am - 3pm | Union Pacific, Omaha, NE

What should we expect to see?

Demonstrating the ROI of learning efforts is a vital task that can't be skipped. It helps to justify the time, budget, and resources used for the learning. Companies aren't looking for reasons to justify learning programs; they are looking for reasons to cut them. Therefore, proving ROI is the best way to help learning professionals keep critical development programs intact. It provides the opportunity to adjust the training program along the way. Most of more.
