2020 has called all of us to reflect and grow in ways we couldn’t have possibly imagined. The day-to-day that seemed so routine and predictable has been flipped on it’s head in 2020. Leaders have now been asked to support their teams in a global crisis while still being required to deliver great results to our customers, clients and patients. Leaders have been called to walk the fine line of tending to the people on their teams while still ensuring that individuals are living in a high-state of accountability. This complex balance has challenged everyone to some deeper personal reflection and called us to new levels of greatness when it comes to our ability to move forward with uncertainty. In the midst of pivoting to the “new normal” and making sure tasks are still completed, many have turned down the dial on our own wellness and mindfulness. In this session, leaders will come to understand a simple and practical model for gracefully leading teams through the 5 stages of crisis or uncertain times which will help discern moments to grow accountability in the individuals they lead Leaders will review the core concepts of the No Ego philosophy and learn the common sources of drama at work to ensure everyone they interact with is understanding how their mind works and our common defaults in times of stress that can amplify into grander problems both physically and emotionally. Lastly, leaders will learn some simple tools that fuel connection and clarity that help prevent division, judgment and disconnection from teams especially in a more virtual world.

Learning Objective(s):

Although Alex stands in at 6’6” tall and is commonly told at events, “you look a lot taller up close,” he prides himself on being down to earth or better yet, grounded in reality.
