About the Speaker:

Dr. Katie Uhlenhake, an accomplished professional with a decade of experience in higher education, is dedicated to fostering learning and training environments for working professionals. Her journey began at a small, private university in Kansas, where she held multiple roles.

As a curriculum developer, Dr. Uhlenhake shaped educational programs to meet rigorous standards. She played a crucial role in accreditation processes, maintaining high university standards.

Her passion for faculty development empowered educators to enhance teaching methodologies. With expertise in instructional design, she created engaging learning experiences for students.

In her final role as Assistant Dean, Dr. Uhlenhake provided strategic leadership, collaborating with faculty, staff, and students. She transitioned to Kiewit in March 2021, spearheading an ambitious initiative. As leader of the Kiewit University corporate training program redevelopment, she ensures top-notch employee training across all Talent Development programs.

Dr. Uhlenhake holds the following degrees, Ed.D. Leadership with a concentration in Instructional Design and Human Performance; M.Ed. Adult Education, B.S. Psychology, and B.A. Theatre.

Beyond her achievements, Dr. Uhlenhake cherishes her personal life with husband, Blake, children, Makenna and Harrison, and sweet dachshund, Charlie. She loves exploring new places, savoring a good cup of coffee, and spending quality time with loved ones.
