History
Funds from the ATD Nebraska Julie Durmaskin Professional Education Scholarship will be used to help active members of ATD Nebraska pursue additional professional education. Donations to the fund will help enhance careers and advance the field of workplace learning and performance, as Julie Durmaskin strived for both personally and professionally for herself, her family, and the community.
Purpose
The purpose of the ATD Nebraska Julie Durmaskin Professional Education Scholarship is to encourage the professional development of ATD Nebraska members.
Eligibility
Applicants must be active and involved members of ATD Nebraska (in good standing) and demonstrate a financial need. Members can submit one scholarship request per calendar year. Student members requesting a scholarship will need to be active in the mentoring program or involved at the committee level.
Scholarships will be awarded for
- ATD Nebraska/ATD-Lincoln programs that exceed $100
- ATD National conferences or certificate programs
- WLP-related courses, certifications, workshops and related expenses (books/fees)
Application Process
Complete the following ATD Nebraska Julie Durmaskin Professional Education Scholarship Application form. Describe the professional development activity for which you are requesting funds and demonstrate how the activity will enhance your professional growth.
You must attach/email documentation, such as a copy of the course/workshop registration form or tuition statement, to the application. You may submit your application any time during the year. You are responsible for managing any associated deadlines for your program or course registrations. Allow at least 15 days for your application to be considered by members of the ATD Nebraska board before funds may become available. Applications will be considered unless funds are no longer available. You may only receive one scholarship award per calendar year.
Awarding of Funds
A maximum of $400 will be awarded to applicants based on need.
