Diversity, equity, and inclusion dialogue is a form of improvisational art. Every dialogue is unique, built upon the individual contributions and experiences of the people brought together in that moment. Yet there are foundational principles and practices that facilitators must practice to accomplish positive outcomes. This experiential session will provide opportunities to discuss and practice facilitation techniques for effective DEI dialogues.

Learning Objective(s):

Attendees will:

  • Define core concepts of DEI
  • Explore practices for DEI dialogues
  • Discuss strategies to handle potential challenges in DEI conversations
