Leadership Communication Essentials

Speaker: Doug Seaberg

Participants may register for the entire event, program only, or workshop only.

Leadership Communication Essentials:  Leadership Communication Essentials is a highly interactive and fast-paced group experience that will introduce participants to the key concepts of delivering effective, clear and compelling messages. The session builds on one’s own strengths in presentation & dialogue skills while targeting areas for improvement.  Participants will learn how to engage the audience through specific physical delivery skills and techniques.  The program will provide a basis for participants to more clearly understand the impact that “how” a message is delivered has on the listener’s ability to understand and take action on the message.

Learning Objectives
  • Learn how to engage an audience and develop interest in a topic.
  • Identify specific physical delivery techniques to be convincing, confident and credible to an audience.
  • Learn techniques to control nervousness.
  • Increase awareness of personal delivery “habits” and discuss techniques to modify those as needed to improve effectiveness.
