The ATD Nebraska Chapter seeks to enhance our members’ abilities to develop talent and support clients and organizations in our local and global communities.
Our programs give an opportunity for members to network, share ideas, and reconnect with the talent development industry while developing their skill sets. Information covered is intended to provide key take-aways for members to apply as they meet their individual business needs.
As a presenter, what are the benefits?
● Free exposure to 350 + members
● A program overview in the ATD Nebraska newsletter and website
● Ability to share your expertise with the community
● Presentation forum for approximately 35-90 participants.
● ATD Nebraska will create and share content on social media, promoting the speaker and their presentation.
● ATD Nebraska following your social media account(s)
What criteria is used to select presentations?
● Qualifications – years of experience for presenters
● Facilitation and training style/techniques reflective of ATD International vision and mission - https://www.td.org/about
● Learning objectives meet the needs of members
● Relevant deliverable tools
● Deliver method reflects best practices of latest research and material
Programming Opportunities
We offer a combination of virtual and in-person programs.
Monthly Programming: We host monthly sessions for our ATD members, covering industry-related topics. These sessions are available in various formats between 60-90 minutes, including virtual-only, hybrid (with both virtual and in-person audiences), and in-person events.
Trainer's Institute (TI): TI is a comprehensive series centered around the core competencies outlined in the ATD Professional Capability Model: Instructional Design, Learning Technologies, Facilitation, and Evaluating Impact. Each session provides hands-on learning opportunities for immediate application. TI caters to both new Talent Development (TD) professionals and individuals aiming to update their skills. TI is held biennially during even-numbered years.
